Social Sciences

We recognize the significance of social sciences in understanding and addressing complex societal issues. Our comprehensive social science programs are designed to provide students with a deep understanding of the intricate workings of human societies, cultures, and behaviors.

Social sciences are a group of academic disciplines that study human society and social relationships. They aim to understand human behavior, interactions, and the structures and processes that shape societies. The social sciences encompass a wide range of fields, each with its own unique focus and methodologies.

Sociology is the study of society, social interactions, and social structures. Sociologists examine how social relationships, institutions, and cultural norms influence individual and group behavior. They analyze topics such as social inequality, family dynamics, education systems, crime and deviance, and social change.

Psychology explores human behavior and mental processes. It investigates the cognitive, emotional, and social aspects of individuals. Psychologists study topics such as personality, perception, learning, memory, motivation, emotions, and mental health. They use research methods and theories to understand human behavior and develop interventions for individuals and groups.

Anthropology is the study of human culture, diversity, and evolution. Anthropologists examine the origins and development of human societies, customs, beliefs, and practices. They study topics such as cultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology, archaeology, and physical anthropology to gain insights into human behavior and cultural variation across different societies and historical periods.

Our social science programs encompass a wide range of disciplines, including sociology, psychology, anthropology, political science, economics, and more. Through our expertly crafted curriculum, students will explore the fundamental theories, methodologies, and research approaches that underpin the social sciences.
